| Vision and Mission Statements |

After some 60 hours deliberating foreseeable objectives for the Egyptian Tourism Federation in 2005, the chairman and members of the board revised the Vision and Mission Statements.
Vision Statement
The Egyptian Tourism Federation is to become the ultimate reference for the tourism industry, setting its policies in order to maximize tourism yield and boost national economy.
Mission Statement
- Achieve ongoing tourism development while safeguarding Egypt's heritage - acknowledged as unique in the world.
- Strengthen potential competition by improving the quality and development of tourism resources and services.
- Maintain the equilibrium between elements within tourism development and the general national plan.
- To preserve cooperation between the tourism chambers, their members, and with partners from effective bodies.
- Due to globalization, sustain a balance between local tourism bodies and international relations.
Initial Mission and Vision Statements
Prior to the summer of 2005, the Egyptian Tourism Federation’s Vision and Mission Statements were as follows:
- Mission Statement
To safeguard and advance the interests of the Egyptian Tourism Industry within the global strategy of sustainable development of tourism.
- Business Vision
The major business of the Egyptian Tourism Federation is to help, coordinate, communicate, promote and support the business of tourism in Egypt.
Since the business of the Egyptian Tourism Federation embraces policy-making in the fields of development, investment, and technology performance, stockholders need the Egyptian Tourism Federation’s support and influence in dealing with policy makers. The Egyptian Tourism Federation usually capitalizes on its good offices and business philosophy to foster the image of tourism business and solve or minimize friction what so ever. |
