Marketing Strategy

The marketing strategy of the ETF is formulated around the concept of maximizing the economic return from tourism with the following target:

  • Increase the flow of tourists by enhancing Egypt’s tourism image and expanding promotional campaigns in existing and new potential markets.
  • Increase the visitor stay period
  • Increase the average expenditure per visitor and per trip
  • Promote the use of local products in establishing tourist projects, and the use of local provisions in construction and management
  • Develop marketing strategies in advance to rationalize the use of resource product planning and to avoid rapid economic decline
  • Establish a marketing committee composed of technical experts who represent tourism professions
  • Receive proposals
  • Form promotional campaigns
  • Execute the plan
