General Assembly

The Egyptian Tourism Federation is a union of elected industry members from the five tourism industry business associations.
The General Assembly consists of 100 elected industry members: 30 represent the Egyptian Hotels Association, 30 Egyptian Travel Agents Association, 25 Egyptian Chamber of Tourist Establishments and 15 Egyptian Chamber of Tourist Commodities. (As for members from the Egyptian Chamber of Diving and Water Sports still to be elected).

A new General Assembly is elected every three years. They are elected from the five affiliate associations. An addition four representatives are appointed by the Ministry of Tourism.
