16 Board of Directors govern the Egyptian Tourism Federation. The nominees come from the following domain:
- The elected chairman of the ETF’s five affiliate associations
- Six members elected from the ETF’s General Assembly
(comprised of 100 members representing the five affiliate associations)

A new Board of Directors is elected every three years. The Egyptian Tourism Federation administration team is headed by a Director General.
Together the Board of Directors vote on the Chairman, Vice Chairman and Treasurer and form an Executive Committee to handle affairs between board meetings.
